A Note from the CEO: Welcome to The Vault

Julie Schoenfeld, Perfect Market, CEO and President

I am very pleased to introduce Perfect Market’s tool for publishers and newsrooms: The Vault.

The idea behind The Vault is simple. It is a performance lens on a publisher’s content library providing key insights into revenue trends and audience interests.

With the right tools and performance data, we believe that professional publishers can thrive in today’s search-based economy. We built the Vault to enable newspapers and other large publishers to more effectively derive revenues from their professionally produced content in a web-based, searched-focused world.

In a time where any particular search can return millions of results, high quality content matters more than ever. That’s the idea behind our new motto: “Content Matters.”

The Vault offers publishers an insightful system for surfacing relevant, professional content that matches real-time demands. When advertising is matched to that content, it opens the door for significant revenue gains. In early trials, Perfect Market partners, like Los Angeles Times, have reported as much as 20x ad revenue improvement.

In the recent San Francisco Chronicle (a Perfect Market partner) article "Yahoo and Google in high-tech news war," Gartner analyst Allen Weiner said: "Giving editors tools to understand what people are interested in is extremely powerful."

This is exactly what The Vault aims to do.

At Perfect Market, we’re dedicated to helping publishers and newsrooms thrive online. The Vault is an essential tool that enables publishers to take control of their content, and the fate of their brands online.

Sincerely,

Julie Schoenfeld

President and CEO
